The Power Of An Ayurvedic Facial

Hey everyone!

I thought it would be a good time to check in and show you all what I have been up to! I have officially passed my ayurvedic facial test out for school and can now book clients through the spa in Germantown!

I have been practicing performing ayurvedic facials heavily lately. I have definitely found my niche! I have just really been enjoying giving people a moment of relaxation while their skin gets an hour of nourishment and treatment that it deserves!

An ayurvedic facial is a facial practice based out of India that offers a more holistic, gentle, and nourishing approach to maintaining skin health, rather than a conventional facial that may use more harsh and chemical-based approaches. My school, Cure Advanced Aesthetics Institute, provided us with a botanical line from Eminence Organics and I am LOVING it! I have also been incorporating my own HSEN products into my facials and the results are simply speaking for themselves!

This journey has been absolutely life changing to me! I am learning more about facial products and how to use them properly and soaking up all the knowledge I can about different skin types and facial techniques. A few conditions and skin types I am really focusing on are acne/problematic skin, mature skin, and combination skin. I will be posting a blog about what kind of products will help certain skin types and why.

I have also been focusing on my vision for the future of HSEN. I have a vision of creating a space that will be called The Still Studio | Dani Michelle that is based off the principles and peace of Psalm 23. That being said, I have plans to incorporate my herbal HSEN products and teas along with the botanical brand, Eminence. I have come to find that it is good to have a variety of products that can serve different clientele. I also have plans to expand some of my facial products. My knowledge of ingredients and uses has only grown immeasurably!

Below, I have posted images of before and after photos from some of my recent clients. I have also posted a case that is demonstrating my dedication and the effectiveness of facial practices for acne/problematic skin. Seriously, guys - becoming an esthetician has been the most amazing step forward!

I have been working on four clients that have seen a dramatic improvement in their skin after just one facial. Remember, facials offer deep pore cleansing, exfoliation of dead skin cells, facial massage, mask treatments, and hydration.

The four services below targeted anti-aging, acne/problematic and hormonally influenced skin, hydration and fine lines, and combination skin. With my hormonally-influenced girlie, she's on a specific HSEN skin care routine that is clarifying, detoxing, oil-regulating/balancing, and hydrating with water-based products. She also is making diet/lifestyle changes and working in conjunction with a dermatologist. Estheticians cannot diagnose or treat certain skin disorders, this is why understanding that ayurvedic facials are not fixes, but rather a wonderful opportunity to nourish the facial skin and promote better skin health!
