Can skin care really be natural?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

My life changed the day I started using 100% natural skin care. In the picture below, I've featured the New Age complete skin care line. This particular line is for the ladies that are 40's and up that are looking to restore their skin barrier through fatty acids and essential antioxidants the skin loses as it ages. Gotta up that elasticity if we're going to fight off wrinkles and signs of aging, amiright?

Now a days, skin care is full of chemicals that actually strip your skin barrier which leads to more skin conditions than ever before. The more simple your products, the better a chance your skin has to thrive in its natural environment. After all, natural products are meant to ENHANCE your skin's natural beauty to begin with. In this particular line, we use pure therapeutic grade essential oils with other carrier oils, honey, aloe vera & witch hazel to create a timeless collection that promotes natural beauty and helps reduce signs of aging.

One ingredient you may notice in our face wash is pure castile soap. If you haven't read our blog on our body soap, I'll give you a little inside scoop here. Pure castile soap is simply lye & distilled water & a fatty oil combined. My previous blog explains the details of lye. However, castile soap is needed to help the combination of the other wonderful ingredients in our face wash to cleanse your skin without stripping its barrier.

Other products we've paired in our New Age line is an eye cream (necessary as you get older or even for prevents - idc what people say), an anti-aging serum, a toner (necessary to shrink pores & brighten skin), and a moisturizer. After you cleanse, it's so important to layer your skin care in order for it to deliver the full benefits.

I always like to imagine what it was like before skin care was ever a thought and how women would use oils and butters and whatever they had in nature to tend to their skin. In my personal opinion, I went to all natural skin care because I didn't want "glass skin", I wanted to just simply be confident in my natural complexion.
